The Sickle Is a Handmade Rest/Guitar body piece made for the Hofner Shorty & Shorty models.

Hand-Made from High Grade Aluminium, Heat bent and hand polished.

Still fits in original Hofner travel case. Solves the weight problem by supporting the guitar in seated positions, open & cross legged.

It makes the Hofner Shorty feel like a full sized guitar making much easier to play as a beginner or advanced player.

The look is aesthetically pleasing and built for purpose following the original curves of the guitar.

This is a small production run test made by designer St.Clair and will be in limited to a run of 1000 before it goes to market.

 

Installation requires drilling x2 8mm holes in the butt of the guitar.

Inserts and bolts are provided and works with the current Hofner Shorty setup.

(Note: Take a look at the input-jack placement in regards to your own guitar - This can vary in some Deluxe and Asian made guitars)

To solve this issue we will be selling a Sickle kit without a pre-drilling the Input-Jack. This way you can line it up at and drill the hole at home.
